Needless to say, the epistles written by the apostle Peter are deeply eschatological. Set within a context of intense persecution, both epistles promised relief and reward from that persecution, and the fulfillment of the OT prophet hope, at the soon coming parousia of Jesus.

Jerel Kratt– Jerel excited the audience last year with his sense of humor and deep theological thought communicated in powerful way. He will share his thoughts with us on the Salvation of the Soul in 1 Peter 1, as well as the identity of the "heaven and earth" in 2 Peter 3.

Tony Denton will give us a much needed introduction to the Petrine epistles

Don K. Preston– Preston will discuss the Messianic Woes that are the prophetic context of Peter’s epistles, as well as "Romancing the Stone" a lesson that sets the proper context for 2 Peter 3. A third lesson will establish the connection between Hosea and Peter’s first epistle.

 

David Curtis will discuss the transitional period from the Old Covenant world to the New, and the last days, and another TBA lesson.

 

As you can see, we have an exciting line up of speakers, including a new name, Tony Denton. Tony is an excellent student of the Word. You will really appreciate his research!!
