By presenting the writings of many contemporary and historical preterists through the mass media of the Internet, Dennis united a somewhat previously disenfranchised group of believers. The combined influence of the next generation of preterists was so strong that the mainstream theological community was forced to address its concerns in many responses, including the writings of Tommy Ice and Tim LaHaye. From that time forward, Todd has written and lectured publicly regarding the importance of seeing the proper significance of the Roman Jewish war in the realm of Bible prophecy. Though now identifying himself as Preterist-Idealist, his commitment to the original ideas has not wavered.
