The persecutorial "little horn" of Daniel 7 was to arise in the days of Rome. Paul said the Man of sin was already alive and being restrained! Furthermore, Paul's description of the Man of Sin, tells is that we are to look to the first century Jewish Temple and priesthood for help in understanding who the Little Horn, and the Man of Sin was. Jesus told the church at Smyrna and Philadelphia that the synagogue of Satan, those who say they are Jews but are liars, was about to persecute them for a short time. Eschatology: The Hope of Israel MM # 2015/03/12 12:26pm
All futurist eschatologies claim to believe that the law of Moses passed away in the first century. Then, amazingly, they then appeal to that supposedly dead covenant / law, for their futurist eschatology! How can you appeal to a dead law, a dead covenant, whiich of logical necessity means "dead promises" for your future hope? If a covenant is dead, it is dead! This is really important stuff, so take a look and pass it on!
Gog and Magog #6 MM #2005/02/12 12:11pm
Revelation mentions the battle of Gog and Magog. This is an unfortunate rendering. It is literally "the war." The War" is an important eschatological theme, foretold in Isaiah, Daniel and other prophecies. This is great stuff, so take a look and pass it on!
